FEATURED MUSICA Last Minute Song Perfect for Easter and General Conference Music All Glory, Laud, and HonorAbout a month ago, I was choosing the hymn for Priesthood opening exercises and, thinking about All Glory, Laud, and Honor. "This is a great hymn that we don't sing enough," I thought. "I wish I could get Dave to do an arrangement of it." Three weeks later, he called and said, "Surprise! I took a break from other stuff I'm supposed to be doing and did a new arrangement." You guessed it. Quite a coincidence,eh? This arrangement is perfect ... exactly what I was hoping for. As always, Dave's style is perfectly fresh without sounding like a pop ballad. For some reason, I'm especially fond of the interlude before the last verse. Also, it's not often that you get to sing a lyric that's been around for nearly 1,200 Easters! All Glory Laud and Honor SATB Arr. by David A. Zabriskie General ConferenceTwo of our songs were performed in General Conference this year, "Awake, Ye Saints of God, Awake!" and "Have I Done Any Good." We got thinking about it and realized that we've had several more songs performed in General Conferences over the years. We thought you might be interested.
