I decided to feature this gorgeous arrangement because of my ward choir's reaction to it. They loved it during rehearsal, but what I noticed was that it was the tune they were humming as they left.
The words are lovely and the music is luscious. I'm especially fond of the change to 3/4 time. It really makes the music flow.
This song has it's roots as a spiritual, but Dave's arrangement is the perfect blend of harmony and style for sacrament meeting.
