The wonderful choral folks at BYU honored Dave Zabriskie and Plum Publishing (LDSMusicSource.com) by choosing "Have I Done Any Good" for the traditional group sing portion of their Winter Choirfest 2006.

The lovely and talented Rosalind Hall gave the introduction to the piece. She was so very kind in all she said. i'll try to capture the essence of it here. (Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the lovely smile or the charming accent.)

She said that as a youth in Wales, this hymn had been something of a joke to her. The sister in her branch who led the singing apparently liked the song and chose it often. Rosalind and her friends used the time to talk iin the back of the room.

She confessed she had rather not liked the hymn ever since ... until she heard Dave's arrangement.
